Morning Star International Kindergarten

About us

Morning Star International Kindergarten (MSIK) was established in September 1995 and is the oldest International Kindergarten in Hanoi. We now have two campuses, one located in Ba Dinh District and the other in the Tay Ho District of West Lake. We provide care and education programs for children from 18 months to 7 years.

School Year and Hours:

Our academic year starts mid-August and finishes mid-June. Holidays are in accordance with the current school calendar.

School is open from Monday to Friday. Part time and full time options are available. Daily hours are:
8.00am - 12.00pm (Half Day)

8.00am - 4.00pm (Full Day).

The afternoon program includes an optional nap and snack. The afternoon program has the following activities: Art, Aerobics, Tae Kwon Do, Piano/music lessons and Vietnamese language lessons.

Summerschool:

We run a Summer School program from late June to early August. Daily hours at this time are 9.00am-3.00pm.

Classes

Our class sizes vary depending on the age group. Our staff includes qualified and experienced expatriate and local teachers. Typically, every class has one expatriate and one Vietnamese teacher but in the toddler classes (18 months - 2 years), we have one extra Vietnamese assistant. All Vietnamese staff has good English skills.
