Our Philosophy

We believe:

Children are active learners and unique individuals who develop their knowledge and social skills through a process of exploration within an educational, play based curriculum. We see the process of learning as important as the outcome and plan an enjoyable learning environment that enables them to build on their strengths and make friends. We value family input to decision making and draw upon that to improve the quality of the kindergarten.

Care and Education

The program encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process, to learn from a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials and to pursue their own interests guided by the class teacher. Aside from the educational goals of our kindergarten, the teachers promote children’s social skills so they can be encouraged to make good friends, gain self-confidence, and above all have fun!

Our educational framework is based on an Australian early year's curriculum. Around this framework, each teacher designs a weekly program to develop skills of individual children and build objectives for the class. The teachers choose a wide variety of subjects and themes; this not only enhances the children’s knowledge and awareness of the world around them but also provides experience for their further education. Weekly programs are displayed in each room.
